The world of beauty is full of pitfalls!
There’s always a false myth waiting to fool you !

At least once in your life, we are sure that you pronounced one of these sentences!
Who says no, lies?

1) “IN THE LONG TERM,  PRODUCTS LOSE THEIR EFFECTIVENESS”
Our skin has specific needs, which change according to the moment of the life we are living. Factors such as stress, seasonal change and hormonal levels can change these needs.
So it is not the product that loses its effectiveness or the skin that gets used to the product, it is simply the cosmetic that at this time no longer meets the needs of our skin.

2) “SUN PROTECTION IS NOT NEEDED IF IT’S CLOUDY”
Very wrong!!
Just because it is cloudy and we do not perceive the sun’s rays, we should protect ourselves exactly as when is sunny! Clouds are little effective barriers when it comes to UV rays!

3) “SUN ELIMINATES ACNE”
Sun helps to dry the skin and therefore to eliminate the unsightly pimples less serious. For acne is different, indeed, expose our skin too much to the sun will be counterproductive as the sebaceous glands are activated to counteract this dryness. Therefore, the result will be the opposite. It’s much better using specific products for this issue. In case of impure skin you can opt for masks such as the Black Mask fabric or clay masks.

4) “IF IT’S ORGANIC, IT’S SAFER”
It is often thought that a green product is better than one that contains chemicals.  This is not always true: even a natural product can create side effects such as allergic reactions or irritations.

5) PORES CAN BE REDUCED
False, the size of the pores cannot be changed, it’s genetics.
On some occasions they may seem bigger, this happens when they are occluded by sebum and dirt. Do not worry, with a purifying face mask you will be able to thoroughly clean the face and make the pores “smaller”.

6) “MORE EXPENSIVE PRODUCTS ARE MORE EFFECTIVE”
The price of a cosmetic does not determine its effectiveness.
In fact, luxury cosmetic products often contain the same ingredients as a mid-low-end cosmetic.
The high cost, therefore, depends not only on the ingredients used, but also on other factors such as packaging design, scale of production, advertising…that often go to inflate the price.

And what false myth have you fallen into?
